Cyber Security Engineer - Fort Lauderdale, FL - $130,000
Role: Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid)
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
My client, one of the largest automotive organizations across the US, is looking to bring a motivated, enthusiastic and talented Cyber Security Engineer to join their IT Team to assist with upcoming and existing projects alongside day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for testing and evaluating Information Security policies and procedures, alongside completing security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure the organization are responding effectively to network and system intrusions. As the Cyber Security Engineer, you will install and configure security hardware and software whilst ensuring employees are up to speed with security awareness and measures are exercised to prevent introduction of malicious code.
This role is on a hybrid basis and would require the ideal candidate to be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

You will be working on:
- Cloud Cyber Security Technologies (primarily in AWS)
- Ensuring all policies and procedures are compliant (e.g. NIST)
- Networking (Firewall configurations and implementations)
- Intrusion Detection Systems and Intrusion Preventions Systems (IDS/IPS)
- SIEM
