Position: IT Field Support Engineer (FTH)

Location: Clinton, MA (Fully onsite)

Hourly Range: $25 - $30 (additional monthly bonuses and overtime available)

A long standing IT Services client of mine, is currently looking to add an IT Field support Engineer to their support team. This is to support their clients internal IT on site and to be a part of various projects within the organization.

If you are someone with previous experience of supporting offices with both hardware and software Tier 1/2 issues, then this would be the right role for you. This role requires a proactive agile technician that can handle both Infrastructure and Hardware support issues that arise, whilst being a representation of the business, and providing top quality customer service.

This role is perfect for candidates who have previously worked in the IT Managed Service Providers industry, or that have had previously worked in a customer facing position.

The working hours for the position is 8:30am to 5:00pm, with 30 minute lunch break Monday to Friday, with overtime cover available.

This is an immediate requirement, with interview stages aiming to be completed within the week. most interviews will be remote, over Microsoft Teams. The client will be ensuring you are both a good technical and cultural fit, to add to their growing team.

This client also has an extensive benefits package which includes full healthcare cover, 401K match and 2 weeks PTO.

This role is an hourly position, with the budget currently between $25 -$30 , that is fully onsite at their facility, and client sites.

The successful candidate will need commercial experience with the following:

  • Networking with LAN/WAN
  • Firewall and Switches Setup and Support (Cisco preferred)
  • Prior experience working within an IT Support customer facing position
