IT Procurement Specialist - Medford, MA - Hybrid

Position: IT Procurement Specialist / IT Helpdesk
Location: Medford, MA (Hybrid)
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 + Amazing Benefits

A long-standing National IT Service Provider which has been established for over 20 years, is currently expanding and on the lookout for an entry-level IT person to join its ranks. This exciting opportunity is to be undertaken remotely/in office and will initially consist of hardware/software procurement, leading to Service Desk Support responsibilities in 3-6 months.

This is an amazing and rare opportunity for any aspiring IT Support Engineers to break into the market and join the best IT Solution Provider in Massachusetts with little prior experience. All they ask is that you champion a friendly personality and great customer service skills, possessing general IT Support and hardware/software knowledge.

Duties:
* Procurement of client hardware using ticketing system
* Purchase Order creation, tracking, and management
* Contract adjustments
* Creating quotes and tracking procurement opportunities
* Sourcing hardware
* Determining hardware and software needs for clients
* Staying up to date on new models and product offers from suppliers
* Administrating in an Active Directory environment
* Administering and setting up Office 365 accounts
* Troubleshooting general issues with Windows 10 and macOS
* Installing, Configuring, and Managing client software

Key Skills:
* 1+ years' experience in IT Help Desk/Desktop Support operations OR 1+ years' experience in Sales (preferably IT)
* Active Directory administration
* Windows 10/11
* MacOS
* Office 365 (inc. Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
* Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
* Experience using Ticketing System via Service Desk
* General Hardware/Software support
