Role: IT Project Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON (Open to remote working for candidates in Canada)

Work Schedule: Mostly remote with occasional travel to client site!

Start date: ASAP, Interviewing Now!!!

Salary Range: $60,000 - $110,000 (CAD)

We are seeking an IT Project Specialist to join an IT Managed Service Provider who have offices across Canada. This role can be completed remotely, but will require occasional travel to their client sites across Canada. You are also able to work from their modern office in the heart of Toronto.

The role will be working normal hours of 8:00am -5:00pm (EST), there may also be some overtime available on a when and as need basis. Due to the nature of the travel to client sites the successful candidate will need a full driving license and access to a vehicle.

The role will see you working with a number of different clients and supporting them onsite when needed, but mostly remotely. This means the successful candidate will need great communication skills and a remote home setup.

Candidates will need to have commercial experience supporting the following:

  • Windows server 2012/2016/2019
  • Windows OS 8/10
  • Active Directory
  • VMWare ESX
  • Exchange 2010/2013/2016
  • Office 365
  • Azure / AWS or GCP
  • Networking protocols (DNS, SMPT, IMAP, DHCP)
  • TCP/IP troubleshooting

Candidates with experience in the following is highly desirable

  • Citrix
  • Hyper-V
  • SQL Server administration
