Network Engineer - Fairfax, VA - $100-110K (+additional $50K in benefits)
Position: Network Engineer
Location: Fairfax, VA
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
Clearance: TS/SCI or Top Secret with eligibility for SCI
Certs: CompTIA Security+ CE required
This corporation sits within a multi-billion-dollar organization which operates on a global scale and employs over 100,000 people worldwide. They are a leading provider to the Intelligence and Defense communities within the US, servicing their clients through contracts which have already been in place for over 30 years, continuing.
They are very well-established yet also undergoing continuous growth, hence their need for the full-time addition of a Network Engineer to be based at their Fairfax, VA HQ. This position has opened due to a long-standing team member's plan to retire soon. It is an excellent opportunity for you to learn from a senior network engineer with a lot of knowledge, who will transfer everything they know across to you through mentoring.

Duties:
* Developing, Configuring, and maintaining Network Infrastructure
* Configuring Network equipment (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless)
* Monitoring of Network for issues or outages
* Managing and undertaking any Networking projects
* Adhering to strict security, fault tolerance, and availability requirements
Key Skills:
* CCNA/CCNP highly desirable
* Security+ Certification
* Cisco and HP Router & Switch Configuration
* TCP/IP, IPv4, UDP (and multicast), TLS, VPLS, GRE
* OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
* ASA Firewall configuration
* Wireless Networking
* LAN and WAN
