Technical Support Specialist- VSaaS

Position: Presales Technical Support specialist

Location: Remote

Salary: $70,000-$85,000 + Benefits

We are looking for a support technicians who are Computer Nerds! This role is responsible for assisting customers and our key partners in understanding how to integrate and on-board our market-leading technical solutions. Working for us will allow you to build on your existing technical skills to include A.I. based video analytics and cloud video surveillance as a Service (VSaaS)

What this Position Will Entail:

  • Attend customer meetings, either personally or virtually, to lead technical and functional requirements capture and effectively position company solutions to solve issues/problems.
  • Report to, augment, and support product management throughout the sales process by identifying capability advantages and gaps across the product portfolio.
  • Assist Sales Personnel and Partners to identify, qualify and close opportunities.
  • Lead on-site and remote demonstrations and training to sales teams, partners, potential and current customers.
  • Assist in the production of solution designs including the development of Digital Barriers products (if necessary) for customer requirements.
  • Produce technical bid proposals based on high level customer requirements and tender documents.
  • Engage effectively with the sales teams in support of customer pursuits, to advance sales campaigns and build rapport with customer contacts.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.

Knowledge and Skills Required for the Position:

  • Experience working with both sales and engineering staff to deliver effective presentations to channel partners and their end-users in various industries.
  • Hand-on experience of general fixed network and wireless data communications, switching and routing.
  • General experience with cloud or on-premise video management systems and IP camera configuration is highly desirable.
  • Technical training in computer science, engineering or a related discipline; plus at least 2-years of relevant experience.
  • Experience of working with large/medium sized corporate organizations.
  • Ability to develop communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage tasks/ responsibilities within multiple projects and associated deadlines.
